Our Founder
Dr. David Knox
Dr. David Knox is the founder and director of DKnox Ministries and the leading voice behind Proseuchéology — the theological science, systematic study, and disciplined practice of Christian prayer. His work proceeds from a conviction that prayer is not a peripheral devotional habit but the very heart of the believer’s communion with God, worthy of the same rigor the Church brings to any other doctrine.
Under his leadership, DKnox Ministries examines prayer through four integrated lenses — Scripture, theology, spiritual formation, and practical application — tracing the Hebrew and Greek vocabulary of prayer, situating it within the Trinitarian structure of the faith, and translating that scholarship into guidance believers can live.
Dr. Knox directs the ministry’s principal project, Spiritual Assessment, which applies the ten dimensions of Proseuchéology to help individuals and congregations see the true shape of their prayer life and pursue deliberate, Christ-centered growth.
